Bloggers Unity in One Community
Quality website with quality contents and quality features. Ain’t we all want to have that kind of site? A site with rich features on it. Some got quality design, but lack on contents. Some have great contents, but pretty few feature to offer for its reader. I ‘ll add several more, creativity and worldwide unity!
Man! That’s a Web 2.0 site written all over it. Well, there ’s one place caught my attention, it’s Thoughts.com.
More than the Average
It’s so much more than some average websites you knew. It’s the massive community of real person that make up this site. Everybody can make a free account and becoming a member. Members can create online journals and blogs. Upload and then share their videos, photos and podcasts to this site. Make the post public, private, or only viewable by your friends and family. That’s not all! The interactivity doesn’t stop here. There ‘re many more features going on at Thoughts, but let’s focus on their highly maintained community forum. If you’re looking for a really Outstanding Set of Forums to become a member of, I ‘ve highlighted some of theirs that really caught my attention.
1. The Big among the Huge
Let’s define the visitors and traffics. By the time I write this, I noticed that there were over 1400 guests and 60 members browsing and commenting inside the forum. If you think 1400 guests are something you’ll be surprised to know that the Thoughts forum now has over 50K registered members. Those thousands of members have now created almost 100K posts in 6500 threads. The most users online at once was 12,390 people which tells me that anyone creating forum posts at Thoughts has the opportunity to reach quite a few people. You got it right, the size matters especially when each members get the same unlimited bandwith at zero dollar.
2. Neat Design
Despite the size of the community, the forum is very neatly designed without being too overcrowded unlike other online communities of this size. What I was impressed about was the main categories of this forum. There are 42 different sub-forums that make up the 9 main forum categories that members can either post in or just sit back and read from.
3. Weekend Getaway Writing Contest
You’ve heard of websites holding online contests for prizes and rewards, right? At the very first sight Thoughts is no different until you find out deeper. What their contest is and what they give away to the lucky winners. They contest is known as the Thoughts.com Weekend Getaway Writing Contest and the winners of the last one received a three day and two night mini-vacation getaway for them and a guest.
Well bloggers, Let us unite and collaborate with others in this awesome community forum!
