Top 10 Reasons why people failed making money online

Still unable to earn money online?
If you are trying to make money online and still unable to earn any, this post might have the reason why you failed. For example, if you are trying to earn money blogging, and the income is still not noticeable, you have not succeed yet. In this post, I am going to talk about the top 10 reasons why people failed to make money online. Here goes!
Reason 1 : Undefined Objectives
When you create a website, you do not have an objective on the website. Is the website going to talk about making money online? Is the website going to discuss about search engine optimization? Or your website is going to talk about niche researching? You need to define your goal of your website. And mine, Make Money Online, the Simple Way.
Reason 2 : Un-targeted traffic
All webmasters know that traffic is critical for all websites. But not all traffic are relevant and good. It is certainly high amount of traffic in a well-known forum. But having traffic from a make money forum to a cooking website, is definitely not going to have a high conversion.
Reason 3 : Not targeting audience
With the ever-evolving web, having interactions with your readers is critical. If you do not interact with the readers, they will tend to visit other websites and forget about yours. Currently, internet has evolved to Web2.0 where visitors of the websites can interact with the webmaster through forms, comments, survey forms, or even bloglog. Have these elements in your website to promote interaction!
Reason 4 : Not knowing your audience
Knowing the source of your audience can help you understand the needs of your audience and build the right content for them.
Reason 5 : Underestimating Competition
Competition are good as they improve each and every one. Understanding your competitors can be a very helpful thing as you will be able to see their technique they use and evolve the technique to help yourself. You can also find the things they didn’t do and out win them.
Reason 6 : Inconsistency and poor site designs
Consistency is what people look out for in their daily life. Imagine visiting a website with alternating color schemes. How irritating! Have a consistent theme. Skip your daily life and get straight to the point. Visitors doesn’t like to waste their time reading things they don’t want to know.
Reason 7 : Outdated Information
Remember the “Under Construction” images we used to see years back? All these years the web has been improving and users know all these images are useless. Great content are attractive to visitors but if they are so old and outdated, you will lose your expert status. Don’t be afraid to remove old content if they are getting irrelevant. Update your website with new features or themes to keep the users interested.
Reason 8 : Poor content deliverables
You clustered all information into just a few web pages. But is that enough? Maybe yes for now. But if you continue to add in new content, you will find it hard to maintain the web pages. And also, for the readers, you only have a few seconds to grab their attention to click on your website. Having long and lengthy information is not going to help.
Reason 9 : Commitment Lacking
When is the last time that you update your website. How frequently you update your website? It is known that having consistent new and great content is the key to driving traffic to your website. Keep your website update. It can be as easy as updating your blog once a week. Or update some special event that happened.
Reason 10 : Not having the right web hosting
Experiencing web hosting downtime is not a good thing for you. And it’s definitely not a good thing for a visitor or a search engine spider. If a visitor goes to your website and noticed it showed the 404 error page, the first impression is, your website is gone. And they might leave forever. I personally experienced 2 change of web hosting and it’s not a good thing to go through.
All of us knows that making money online is not an easy thing. But by avoiding all the reasons above, you are one step closer to success.
